He is named after Lewis the Explorer of Lewis and Clark fame, to go with our chocolate stud Clark. 🥰 He is a happy go lucky guy with a strong retrieving drive. He is one of our darkest reds and comes from solid hunting, dock diving, smart and trainable lineage. He gets his deep, dark fox red color from having some of the original Fox Red lines that brought back the beautiful color into the yellow spectrum. He has the famous Jumping Jake with a slew of titles and is from top lines in the hunting world; the gorgeous Rage that is a Dock Diving Master as well as titled in doing tricks, both are such fun sports! He has some Keepsake in his lines which has married the American Field lab with the English Show lab to give a deep red color to pass on as well as the strong retrieving genes. Lewis favors the American in his looks but the is on calmer side of the field labs. We are excited to see what he will give us with our Cora and our upcoming Sacajawea with the call name of Janey, who is the daughter of Cora & Walter and both are just as talented and dark as Lewis! Janey is named after our Lewis and Clark theme and is what Clark called the beloved Sacajawea who helped guide and direct the explorers through the Wild West.
